We would like to invite you to participate in the International Jubilee 15th Conference commemorating Vladimir Vasilenko. It takes place in Moscow in the All-Russia Decorative Art Museum and is supported by the History of Motherland Foundation and the International Council of Museums.

In 2017 the museum holds out a contest for researches from all over the world. Authors of the selected papers will be granted tickets to Moscow and both printed and electronic publications of the conference materials (see Rules of the Contest).

The All-Russian Museum of Decorative and Applied and Folk Art took part in the annual conference of the Committee of Fine Arts of the International Council of Museums (ICOM, ICFA) in Copenhagen. The meetings were held in the halls of the museum "Collection Harschprang" and the State Art Museum of Denmark from 17 to 20 September 2017. Theme of the conference: "We change the halls? Permanent exhibition and storage rooms".

The All-Russian Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art October 6, 2015 is organizing a conference "Handicraft Museum: experience of preserving the traditions," which will be devoted to the 130th anniversary of the founding of Moscow Handicraft Museum. The specialists of the museum will be made presentations on topics:- History of Moscow Handicraft Museum, the analysis of the experience of its organization and operation, especially manning the museum's collection.- The role of the Handicraft Museum in the development of folk art and art centers, the specificity of the organization of work with folk crafts and art centers.
